Zwartberg View Mountain Lodge provided a fantastic stay for me. The chalets were clean and comfortable, with a well-designed layout. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. The hotel facilities, such as the pool and walking trail, were enjoyable and easily accessible. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a warm welcome and excellent service. The breakfast served on the terrace was delicious, and the honesty bar was a convenient bonus. this hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location, breakfast, and staff.
Nothing, everything was great.

Great wildlife experience and beautiful surroundings. Loved seeing the kudu, oryx, and giraffe roaming freely around the property. Also enjoyed the self-catering option and having a well-stocked room. the newly renovated and isolated bungalow was clean, quiet, and provided a peaceful getaway.
Limited accommodation options. It would have been nice to have more lodges available.

I had a fantastic stay at a lodge in a beautiful location surrounded by stunning mountains. The animals roaming around the chalet, including giraffes, made it a unique and homely experience. I enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and having dinner outside in the braai area. The lodge was also close to attractions like ostrich farms and the Cango Caves. I highly recommend this place as a lovely retreat.
I must mention that there was no internet in the chalet, but it wasn't a big problem for me. Additionally, the lodge could benefit from providing some bottled water in the rooms.

Stunning Views: The lodge offers breathtaking views of the valley and Swartberg Mountain Range, making it the perfect backdrop for relaxation. You'll feel like you're in a postcard!
Challenging Access Road: The rugged road leading to the lodge might require a suitable vehicle. TBH, it's best to use an SUV for a smooth journey.

The hiking trails are dope and the views are lit. We saw zebras and giraffes while chilling and eating our meals. Belinda was the bomb, she hooked us up with all the crazy stuff to do around. Definitely coming back!
Just one thing, it would've been even more turnt if they had a sick party area with a DJ and all. But hey, still had an epic time!

We had the best time with our friends at Zwartberg View Mountain Lodge. The views were insane and we saw so many cool animals like zebras and giraffes. We went on some sick hikes and even had a chill bonfire. It was the ultimate teenage adventure!
The only thing we wish was different was that they didn't have a cool party spot for us young folks. It would've been rad to have a DJ or some sick music playing so we could dance and party all night long.

We had a blast exploring the walking and hiking trails, it felt like an adventure! The views from the terraces were jaw-dropping, totally Instagram-worthy! We also loved the chilled vibes of the "honesty bar", where we could grab cold beers and have a good time. A truly memorable experience!
If there was one thing we could have asked for, it would be more options for nightlife activities nearby. We were young and full of energy, so we wished there was a cool party scene or some fun nightclubs to hang out after our daytime adventures.

The moment I stepped into the lodge, I was captivated by its warm and inviting decor, reminiscent of Africa's natural beauty. The tasteful use of warm and natural tones created a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The lodge's general areas, such as the terrace, offered breathtaking views of the valley and Swartberg Mountain Range, allowing me to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. As a senior woman, I appreciated the lodge's accessibility, with its separate sitting areas and easy navigation for those with mobility concerns.
If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be for the children working there to provide flashlights for guests when walking up to the lodge in the dark. It would add a sense of security and make the journey more comfortable, especially for those who may need additional assistance.

The guestrooms at Zwartberg View Mountain Lodge are absolutely amazing! The beds are so cozy, it's like sleeping on a cloud. And they even have a pillow menu, so you can choose the perfect pillow for a great night's sleep. The separate sitting areas are a nice touch too, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day of exploring.
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the private entrance in the chalet. I mean, it's nice to have the privacy, but I kind of missed the interaction with other guests.
